The officers held a vote and demoted me from officer without any consultation or warning.  Since the inactive Soarin remains an officer, it is clear that this was done because Tamalpais' opinion is now the one that prevails among the officers.  See below:

Obviously I have not been seen as a contributor since I stepped down from GM.  I will not support a guild where I am no longer appreciated.  The site that has hosted our forums and I have paid for for the last 3 years are shut down as of now.  Thank you to the grand total of THREE people (Braenna, Blinz, and Kuroii) who ever helped me keep the site going.

KP started as a non-raiding guild, and while Amberle and I led the guild we made sure that non-raiders and casual raiders were not second class citizens in the guild.  For example, our Ulduar 10-man achievement run included several non-raiders and a few more casual 25-man raiders: as long as they were willing to put in the effort and performed well, they were welcomed regardless of what rank they held in the guild.  This guild mentality has, quite ironically, changed since I myself became one of these non-raiders.  It is this change that has sparked the most friction between myself and the other officers, and my outspokenness on many matters which undoubtedly led to my demotion.  Because I stood up for what I believed, I am considered nothing more than an obstacle and a "shit-disturber".

The officers are reactionary.  They do not deal with problems proactively, but wait for things to reach crisis point before acting.  A lot of the recent grumbling about 10mans started when the 2nd wing of ICC came out, and it took a month and angry posts on the forums before anything public was posted to address the issue.  As 6 of the current officers were in the guild when the Frazle/Ethics clique was causing drama, they should have known better than to run a static group of 10 when others wanted in.  Guild members, keep this in mind when you want things fixed in the future. Don't settle for "it's being discussed".
