When I read about this fight, specifically the whining and moaning from so many top guilds, I thought we would be cock-blocked on this boss for a long, long time.

 

It took us 3 nights. Shows what I know.

 

But I suppose I shouldn't really be surprised. 

This fight requires a lot of min/maxing and theorycraft knowledge out of your dps.  We can do that.

This fight requires *very* specific healing assignments, and healers who don't blink.  We can do that too (except Mellisan, we just want him for his heroism).

This fight requires the usage of every consumable under the sun.  Thanks to some very shrewd auctioning skills, Calistella has made our bank quite wealthy.  So we can do consumables too.

 

So this fight actually played well to our strengths, and resulted in our first ever server-first kill.  Congratulations everyone, and very nice work.
